Annie O

Annie O. works directly with a weaving cooperative of eighty Peruvian women, run by three sweet sisters. Most of the women in the coop are victims of domestic violence. These women are living in impoverished conditions but have an incredible eye for vibrant, beautiful color. Traditionally, the coop is known for embroidering table mats and belts, but Annie worked with them on colors and various designs to create a contemporary product line. The mission of Annie O is to help these artists create financial stability and a sustainable income. To empower these women and support traditional artisan craftsmanship.
